Enabling Active X
An Important Note about Changing Browser Settings/Configurations
The internet browser settings and configurations we suggest in this article relate to the optimum performance of the Livestock Auctions ® family of web-based products only. The settings you choose in configuring your browser directly affects all of the internal and external browser-based applications you use. You should always check with your Network Administrator or your PC/IT team before you change any system setting or configuration. If you have questions or concerns about the browser settings you should use with your Livestock Auctions® products, please contact our Customer Support team.
Network users should check with their Network Administrator or IT department before changing browser settings. If you are not on a network take the following steps as appropriate for your browser to enable Active X:
NOTE: Not all Livestock Auctions ® products support all the browsers referred to on this page.
* Microsoft ® Internet Explorer 6.0
* Microsoft ® Internet Explorer 7.0
* Microsoft ® Internet Explorer 8.0
* Microsoft ® Internet Explorer 9.0
Enabling Active X for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
1.Click Tools then Internet Options.
2.Click Security.
3.Click Internet.
4.Click Custom Level.
5.Scroll to the Active X controls and plug-ins and verify that the options are set to Enable or Prompt.
6.Scroll to the Scripting Section and verify that Active Scripting is set to Enable or Prompt.
NOTE: Clicking a checked box removes the checkmark and disables the feature.
If you see checkmarks in the Enable or Prompt boxes, do not click on the checked boxes.
7.Click OK.
8.Click OK.

Enabling Active X for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0
1.Click Tools then Internet Options.
2.Click Security.
3.Click Internet.
4.Click Custom Level.
5.Scroll to Active X controls and plug-ins.
6.Click Enable next to Download signed ActiveX controls.
7.Click Enable next to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
8.Click Enable next to Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
9.Click OK to close the Security Settings window.
10.Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
11.Close and reopen Internet Explorer.

Enabling Active X for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0
1.Click Tools then Internet Options.
2.Click Security.
3.Click Internet.
4.Click Custom Level.
5.Scroll to Active X controls and plug-ins.
6.Click Enable next to Download signed ActiveX controls.
7.Click Enable next to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
8.Click Enable next to Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
9.Click OK to close the Security Settings window.
10.Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
11.Close and reopen Internet Explorer.

Enabling Active X for Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0
1. Click the tools symbol on right hand side corner
2.Select Safety
3.check the ActiveX Filtering
